ABOUT
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Harvest Moon Festival, is an extraordinary opportunity to unite the Asian American community in celebration of the fruits of our labor. As we gather under the luminous harvest moon, we will embark on a mission to cultivate community resiliency and sustainable vitality for Asian American-owned entrepreneurs in the agriculture, entertainment, and food service industries.
WHY
Our primary goal is to raise $25,000 USD for Choy Commons, a collective of Asian-led farms and organizers who collaboratively engage AAPI communities in building food sovereignty for the Northeast while ensuring those in need are nourished first.

September 30, 2023 | 915 Wyckoff Avenue, Ridgewood NY
Nha Minh and Resonator have come together to present an unforgettable evening that combines culture, entertainment, and community spirit in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Our stage will be graced by the artistic brilliance of Asian American-owned musicians, writers, performers, and community-based organizations, each contributing to the vibrant tapestry of our community.
In addition, the event will host a diverse array of Asian American-owned vendors, empowering them to preserve their cultural heritage through their craft.
FURTHER IMPACT
Your contributions will directly fund donations from the Choy Commons farms to food distributions serving Asian American communities, including:
Heart of Dinner: a nonprofit that addresses food insecurity, social isolation, and loneliness among Asian American seniors who live in under-resourced and underinvested communities throughout the New York Chinatowns. They deliver care packages of nutritious prepared lunchboxes and fresh produce every Wednesday, lovingly paired with a handwritten and illustrated letter in their native language to bring warmth and comfort.
Red Canary Song: a grassroots organization of Asian and Migrant sex workers and massage workers, organizing transnationally. Their work is in the tradition of sex worker mutual aid, and we center base-building with migrant massage workers through a labor rights, migrant justice, and PIC abolitionist framework.
The Academy of Medical and Public Health Services: a health service organization that supports the sustained well-being and self-advocacy of underserved communities in Sunset Park.
GET INVOLVED
Together, let us sow the seeds of prosperity and harvest a bountiful future for Asian American-owned enterprises. Your contributions will make a tangible difference and ignite a movement that empowers the next generation of Asian American leaders.
Let us seize this opportunity to make a transformative impact. Your commitment will resonate for generations to come.
With gratitude and anticipation,

ABOUT RESONATOR
Resonator is an artist-run, BIPOC-owned, creative services firm from New York City to the world. A resonator is an amplifier, an object which takes its source, and makes it grow. We at Resonator aim to do just that through connecting artists, brands, and audiences. We work to act as a catalyst, to be the puzzle piece which enables innovators in the arts to flourish and their ideas to spread.
