The Nutrition One Program assists qualifying low-income families in Alabama by providing $0 cost dog or cat food. This program may also include the distribution of cat litter, microchipping or GPS Collars, leashes, bowls, or toys. The type of food may vary, but we try to match the dog's or cat's diet, being careful not to disrupt the change in diet, causing an upset in digestion.
We distribute on a first-come, first-serve but prioritize those with registered accounts, elderly and homeless veterans.
Each Distribution requires some cost, such as the cost of transportation, mileage cost, freight costs, gas, and more.
New Upcoming freight cost = $150.00 x 5 (per pallet) - $700 plus metro truck rental $225.00.
$925.00 each month for the first 5-month period =$4625.00 ($rounded off to 5,000)
$925.00 are needed before January 5th, 2023.
We need your help to help keep our trucks distributing cat and dog food.
