NorCal Resist Chico

Since October 2022 NorCal Resist Chico has provided crucial support to the most vulnerable members of our community. 

We hold weekly distributions of hygiene, first aid, and other essential survival gear for unhoused people. As the city continues to sweep people for simply existing, our distributions help people replace items they may have lost to a sweep. 

Additionally, we hold semi monthly Brake Light Clinics with Community Table distributions. During these events folks can come to us and have their headlight, brake light, or turn signal fixed. This service helps to prevent police encounters with people from our community, thereby keeping them safe from a routine stop possibly escalating to something bad. 

Our community table provides household items to community members. Items include detergent, dish soap, diapers, baby wipes, etc. Anyone is welcome to benefit from our community table distribution.
