Nobody taught us about our own bodies, so we are making sure the next generation knows.
In June 2026, a 34-year-old woman on our Cycle Awareness Program at Tomorrow's Women Wirral was asked what she had learned. Her answer: "That I have three holes down there, not two."
That single sentence shows the gap. The gap isn't just in schools, it follows us into adulthood.
Girls growing up now shouldn't have to wait until they are 34. That is why we created The Woo Cycle, a children's book that gives 4–8 year olds the words for their bodies before shame does.
From primary school classrooms, communities and workplaces, from the Wirral to Kenya, Period Reality is building body literacy for every generation.
