Our No Shave November-Best Beard Contest Fundraiser will raise funds for our Educational Opportunities Initiatives. The two current projects are Basic Spanish for Educators and Get Them To D.C! (See below for details). For a $10 donation contestants can enter our BEST BEARD CONTEST. Submit your BEST BEARD PICTURE by November 30, 2023. Share on your social media feeds WITH HASHTAG #bestbeard23 and challenge others to compete! The best beard overall winner wins a sweet beard care kit! 3 second place prizes (a decal sticker and bragging rights) will be awarded for: Longest Beard Best Manscaping Honorable mention for the Best 'Stache -Our Basic Spanish for Educators initiative will pay for local educators to take Basic Spanish courses to help them better interact with our growing Hispanic student population. -Our Get Them To D.C Initiative helps low income 8th grade students be able to go to Washington D.C with their peers Spring 2024.

Here at Parents Supporting Education, our focus is advocacy, equity, and community. We advocate for our local public school educators, students, and school families. We work to promote equity in education for all students, and strive to foster an engaged community of support for public education.

We advocate for the needs of our public educators both locally and on a state level by amplifying the voices of public educators, students, and school families and raising awareness about important issues facing public education in our community. We work to promote positive community engagement that brings together parents, educators, students, and community members. We strive to focus our efforts on equity and inclusion. Advocate for fair policies, and inclusive practices that benefit all students. We help address disparities in education, including access to resources and opportunities for underserved students. We believe it does take a village to raise a child and it is the job of all of us to BE THE VILLAGE.
