By contributing to Iowa Community Spoon’s food drive—whether through food items or monetary donations—you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Purpose of Donations
All donations will be used exclusively to support Iowa Community Spoon’s mission to combat food insecurity in our community. Monetary contributions may be used to purchase food, supplies, or cover operational costs directly related to the food drive.
2. Tax Deductibility
Iowa Community Spoon is a registered nonprofit organization. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors are responsible for consulting their tax advisor. Receipts are available upon request.
3. Finality of Donations
All donations are voluntary and non-refundable.
4. Food Safety Standards
Donated food must be non-perishable, unopened, and within its expiration date. Iowa Community Spoon reserves the right to decline any items that do not meet safety or quality standards.
5. No Endorsement Implied
Acceptance of donations does not imply endorsement of any individual, business, or organization.
6. Privacy and Data Use
Donor information will be kept confidential and used solely for acknowledgment and record-keeping purposes unless explicit permission is granted.
