Kindly accept our request for donation(s) in support of a medical mission to Ghana, West Africa. Coordinated by Rebuild Africa in partnership with the Association for Cultivation and Education (ACE 501(c)3), the medical mission will provide much needed medical equipment and ancillary supplies to enable a clinic in Nkonya Ahenkro, Ghana to be upgraded to the status of a regional hospital.

Currently, the Comfort Ofedie Memorial Clinic serves a population of 7,176 children, women and men in Nkonya Ahenkro. Services it offers include Outpatient Care, Reproductive and Child health, Nutrition, Maternal Health, Mental Health, Clinical, Laboratory and HIV/AIDS Prevention and Treatment Services.


The needed upgrade to regional hospital will make Comfort Ofedie Memorial Hospital just the 2nd hospital in the Biakoye District, with the other in Worawora, about 1 hour 30 minutes by road (80km) from Nkonya.  This will also extend the service population to 71,827 (district wide) providing both upgraded and expanded outpatient and prenatal services, and potentially life saving improvements in overall health delivery services.
