What Are We Doing?
As the cybersecurity community gathers in San Francisco for The RSA Conference, we are calling on attendees and the broader industry to give back the local community. NightDragon and our launch coalition partners are leading a pledge drive to open the opportunity door to the next generation of cybersecurity leaders by reimbursing college courses for ALL qualified students in the Bay Area.
Research shows that it would require only $1 million to fund all the community college cybersecurity students for a year in the Bay Area. We are partnering with the non-profit Next-Gen Cyber Talent to help raise this money and reimburse students in the region who achieve grades of B- or better in their classes.
Why Should You Join Us?
The cybersecurity talent shortage is an issue that impacts all of us and is one of the biggest challenges facing our industry and national security. No matter if we are competitors, partners, startups or establish companies, this is an issue we all should be passionate about. Let’s show that we can join together on this important issue and make a real impact in the lives of students looking to get into this great industry and help us combat today’s threats.
