Giving Tuesday Campaign

We have one unwavering purpose — increasing the number of Native Americans who live in prosperity.

We’re determined to help Native Americans in North Dakota achieve economic stability by providing the tools and resources to holistically address their needs. Considering that 1 in 3 Native Americans are living in poverty, now is the time for us to band together and end the generational poverty.

If our funding would stop tomorrow, the Native American community would be devastated. An adverse effect would be the increase in homelessness, unemployment, addiction and suicide, family separation, and human trafficking, affecting our state’s economy.

With your donation, you are helping us build a cultural platform for North Dakota; a place that will offer the resources to instill the confidence and skills people need to obtain their life achievements and that will act as a central hub for the entire state, benefiting generations to come.

Who we are

Native American Development Center (NADC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and Native community development financial institution referred to as a Native CDFI. Our purpose is to provide access to capital for business and debt consolidation and to build credit wealth through consumer finance education and counseling services. NADC is also a development center where Native American populations and other socio-economic challenged populations come to obtain access to our resources, our service connections and our culture.

We have a sister organization that we are the fiscal sponsor for, Native Community Development, Inc. also known as Native, Inc. that is co-located within NADC. Native, Inc. comprises many social, cultural and consumer economic programs, such as homeless prevention, financial capability, transportation, recovery, elder, youth and cultural programs.

The two organizations partner together to fully address the needs of the Native Population in urban North Dakota communities.
