Today was one of those days that reminds us why this farm exists.
Thirty Israeli soldiers arrived at the Na’aleh Therapy Farm and immediately went to work.
Together, they mended broken fences, cleared and stabilized rocky areas, opened new grazing space for the animals, and helped plant food that will sustain the flock in the months ahead.
They filled feeding stations, cleared paths, and worked the land with strength, focus, and quiet determination.
But as always happens here, the work went both ways.
As the soldiers gave their time and energy, the animals did what they do best.
They followed closely.
They leaned in.
They offered calm, affection, and presence.
Goats brushing up against tired legs.
Horses standing close, steady and gentle.
Healing doesn’t need words here. It happens naturally.
Today was also special for another reason.
We welcomed several first-time volunteers, including one woman who came to honor the 13th yahrzeit (passing) of her father. Her father had been an Israeli soldier in his youth, and she told us that the best way she could think to honor his memory was by helping other soldiers heal.
She chose to spend the day working the land, caring for animals, and supporting those who carry the invisible weight of service.
This is what the Na’aleh Therapy Farm is about.
Soldiers healing through purpose.
Animals healing through care.
People coming together through meaning, memory, and love of this land.
Thank you for making days like this possible.
Your support turns intention into action, and action into healing.
Am Yisrael Chai.
Thank you for standing in unity with our healing mission for Israel. Please share this message with others like yourself who love Israel.
Warmly,
Ben Goldstein and the Unity Warriors Team.
