UPDATE 12/12/2025: Fundraising update, the meter on this page resets on the 1st of each month. In October 2025, in less than 10 days, we raised $26,874.41 and in the month of November we raised $12,635.05 for a total of $39,509.46 in those months.
We are eager to let you all know that 29 families connected to the Chicagoland Rapid Response Network and whose loved one was detained by ICE/CBP have at this time received those funds directly that were raised in October and November for rent, food, medical bills, and other expenses. MUTUAL AID: All donations to this fund support recently arrived migrant families and long term immigrant families in Chicago IL who:
have been directly impacted by deportations, (PRIORITY AT THIS TIME)
are at risk of deportations due to ICE raids or
has a loved one detained. (PRIORITY AT THIS TIME)
We use your donations in two ways:
1.) Direct Cash assistance:
We provide direct cash assistance for:
Rent
Food/ groceries
Other essentials such as utility bills like gas, electricity , diapers and medication
2.) NEW MUTUAL AID Program: Delivery of food/ groceries and other essentials (SECONDARY AT THIS TIME)
As of 2025, we also buy and deliver food and necessities directly to families who are sheltering in place due to aggressive ICE raids targeting immigrants in public spaces in Chicago IL under Midway Blitz ICE/ CBP Operation that started on September 8th and that has led to hundreds of Chicago immigrants to be detained by ICE. After a detention families have less income for the household.
