This Mother’s Day, we ask for your help translating Understanding a Down Syndrome Diagnosis into Haitian Creole to support new and expectant parents of children with Down syndrome. Despite the fact that there are over 850,000 Haitian immigrants in the U.S., there are very few resources at all available in Haitian Creole for people with Down syndrome and their families. Recently, Lettercase has received multiple requests from doctors and advocacy organizations to translate our Down syndrome book into Haitian Creole to better support these families.
Your donation will not only allow us to translate Understanding a Down Syndrome Diagnosis into Haitian Creole, but also to publish this book as a freely accessible webpage that can be accessed by Haitian Creole-speaking mothers and families worldwide.
