Morden is a small town in Manitoba, Canada, with a growing Muslim community of around 150 people. Just two months ago, we rented a space to establish the first and only mosque in the region. Since then, we have been slowly renovating to create a comfortable and welcoming space for worship and community gatherings.
The mosque has a hardwood floor, which has made it extremely difficult for our community to pray—especially during Manitoba’s harsh winters. The cold floors have been uncomfortable for many, particularly elders and children. To address this, we have begun installing proper mosque carpeting, but we still need your help to complete the project.
Why We Need Your Support?
The total cost for this project is $4,000, and we have already covered $2,000. We now need to raise the remaining $2,000 to pay for the carpet installation and other renovation expenses.
