In partnership with the Foundation for Climate Restoration, CK Films and Theo Films will be producing the short film entitled MONA. “Mona” (abbreviated ‘Mother Nature’) is the leading single to About You’s upcoming album and is a personification of the climate crisis.
As this film’s purpose is to provide a deeper understanding of our relationship with the environment we live in, it is only natural to produce the film in a fully sustainable and eco-friendly manner. The producers will employ a zero-waste, plastic free and low carbon emission set. We believe it is possible and important to make the filmmaking process more sustainable and mindful of our environment.
All donations will be allocated for the production of MONA with 10% of proceeds going directly to support the Foundation for Climate Restoration’s mission to restore the climate by 2050. F4CR is developing the ecosystem needed for climate restoration to succeed. This includes education and outreach efforts, supporting the research, development, and acceleration of solutions, creating public-private partnerships, and mobilizing financing.
