Dolly and Missy are twin dorper-katahdin one-year old ewes.  We were contacted by the hobby farm owner who bred them so their children could have lambs to play with.  Much like a puppy or kitten, when cute babies become older, many people choose to sell them.  What surprises many hobby farmers is that most people are only interested in farm animals for slaughter, not as pets.  And that was how Missy and Dolly arrived safely at the Little Red Barn.  They are always together, and can be seen with Daisy, their adopted mom.  Daisy loves them as her own.  If they can’t see Daisy, they cry out “maaaa” and it sounds like they are calling her Ma. Two lucky ewes who enjoy freedom love and family every day at the Little Red Barn.
