Evangelizing on the Streets of Rome!

Hello!

If you don’t know us, we are Jonah and Caleb Condit. We are from Ann Arbor, Michigan.

This summer we are going on a mission trip to Rome for the canonization of Pier Giorgio Frassati, and we need to raise $5,600. Now this is a really big deal for us! Our family has always had a great devotion to Pier Giorgio. He was our dad’s (Luke Condit) confirmation saint and a big part of his story. Our dad had a really amazing journey, especially through the last year of his life. He was diagnosed with colon cancer in January of 2023 and passed away on January 31, 2024, just over a year ago. Pier Giorgio was always one of his go to intercessors to pray to for anything. In the picture above, Caleb and I are standing next to a painting that was done after our dad’s death. It shows him and Pier Giorgio together, as they are up in Heaven right now. I think both of them had a really big part to play in this opportunity to go to Rome, and I am hoping that they will have a big part in helping the fundraising! A devotion to Pier Giorgio was also the first thing that our parents had in common and one of the reasons that they started to get to know each other. My mom traveled to Rome when she was in college and had the opportunity to meet Pier Giorgio’s sister (who was 99 years old at the time) and his niece, Wanda Gawronka. I (Jonah) am named after Pier Giorgio (my middle name is Pier) and I’ve always had a big devotion to him as well. So yeah, we are all super excited!!!

If you feel called, we would love your donation! Just pray about it, and see if God wants you to give to us. If He does, great! If He doesn’t, no worries! All I ask is that you pass this on to family or friends or anyone (and everyone) that you know…. so that you can help us get to Rome!!
