The Mission of the Huron Valley Film Organization is to become a center for film and allied arts in the Huron Valley Community by maximizing the potential of the Milford Independent Cinema as a cultural and social hub.


The Huron Valley Film Organization (HVFO), is a nonprofit working to keep our area cinema alive. We rely on individuals and business to keep the cinema running. Through these donations we, in turn, help support other area organizations and schools.


Here at the Milford Independent Cinema, we believe in the transformative power of the cinema to inspire, educate, and unite our communities. We are reaching out to you, our cherished audience and supporters, to join us in our mission to ensure the future of the Cinema while bringing the magic of storytelling to all members of our community.


Our on-going General Fund campaign ensures funding is available to provide a variety of film programming and maintain building and equipment upgrades all while keeping ticket and concession prices at a reasonable rate.
