Help Michael Brewer's Humanitarian Efforts in Afghanistan

MICHAEL BREWER: FATHER, MILITARY VETERAN, AND HUMANITARIAN

Michael Brewer, our friend, colleague, and a decorated military veteran who served as a U.S. Army Special Operations and Counter-Terrorism Specialist, needs your help to help keep him in Washington DC. His humanitarian efforts as a volunteer working with the State Department has already proven effective having assisted in evacuating over 4000 people out of Afghanistan to date. But, without financial support, Michael can't stay there to do this very important work.

There are still many Americans and other vulnerable people who need to leave Afghanistan. Their extraction now lies with private organizations like the Commercial Task Force and civilians like Michael, who have the skillset and network on the ground in Afghanistan to do the job. Therefore, when the opportunity arose for Michael to help, he knew that going to Washington DC was not negotiable. He and other military vets and other civilian volunteers have aligned themselves with effective and very capable entities that have the capacity and knowledge to do the job.

Michael's story began when he joined the army in 1999 where he served in the U.S. Army Special Operations Forces until 2008. He then joined the intelligence community as a counter-terrorism targeter in Washington DC. There Michael was an Al-Qaeda targeter, which put him at the forefront of the operations closely associated with the Bin Laden raid and the ensuing aftermath. HE has been awarded both the National Intelligence Citation for his role in the raid that killed Osama bin Laden and the Government Service of Excellence award for actions in Afghanistan, 2011.

Help us keep Michael afloat financially while he navigates this humanitarian effort. His estimated time in Washington DC is 20 days and further meetings are expected in Texas and Colorado.
The fundraising goal was established using current IRS per diem rates and airfare costs. His itinerary and progress will be updated on The Survival University’s FB page
