Maria was born at 32 weeks with a brain hemorrhage. Because of her condition at birth, she had to undergo 6 different surgeries. Due to posthemorrhagic hydrocephalus (the condition when the cerebrospinal fluid is collected in the head and does not enter the brain), Maria has a delay in physical development and is not gaining weight. Maria does not walk independently; she has movement disorders and delays in reaching her milestones.
Maria's rehabilitation courses helped her finally sit on her own and lean on her legs little by little. Doctors' assurance of the positive dynamics in the child's development gives the family hope and strength to continue their fight.
Maria has two older siblings, and her loving parents do everything possible to care for them and provide their baby with adequate medical help. The baby girl needs another course of therapy, but her family does not have funds to cover it at the time.
Will you help Maria acquire new skills and abilities with the help of a therapy course?
