Ivan is an 11-year-old boy in Ukraine living with arthrogryposis of the lower limbs, a rare condition that causes his muscles to be replaced by fatty tissue, making walking extremely difficult. Even with leg braces, he can only stand and move a little, and he depends on a wheelchair every day.
His current lightweight stroller has been a lifeline, allowing his mother to take him to medical appointments and therapy sessions because it folds easily and is convenient for travel. Sadly, Ivan has outgrown it, and it can no longer safely support his weight.
The family worked hard to save for a new lightweight stroller, but its price increased tremendously, and the money they had saved was instead spent on Ivan's medical care after he was hospitalized four times last year due to his health.
Today, we are raising $1,058 to purchase the stroller Ivan urgently needs.
Every donation brings Ivan one step closer to greater mobility, comfort, and independence.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
