Rayne was born with multiple congenital anomalies, meaning several parts of their body developed differently before birth. These conditions affect how Rayne breathes, eats, and fights infections.
Because of this, Rayne gets sick often, especially with pneumonia. Breathing can become difficult very quickly, and many days end in emergency hospital visits just to keep Rayne stable.
For Rayne, everyday life looks different.
