Despite everything she’s been through, Melania is a happy, curious girl who loves to learn and explore the world around her. Her biggest dream is simple and beautiful: to one day stand and walk on her own.
Melania was born in 2013 with cerebral palsy and spent her first two months of life in the NICU, relying on a ventilator for 30 days. Since then, she has undergone four surgeries to correct dislocated hip joints. Every day, her mother works tirelessly by her side, helping Melania reach her physical development goals and celebrating every small milestone.
The family was forced to flee their home due to the war, searching for safety abroad. But financial hardship made it impossible to stay, and they eventually returned to Ukraine. Now back home, Melania’s mother continues doing everything she can to provide for her daughter — yet they struggle to afford even basic necessities like special nutrition and hygiene supplies.
Your support can make a real difference.
Will you help provide Melania with her essential needs and give her the chance to keep moving forward?
