Arina is 5 years old. At just 1 year old, she began experiencing fear of sounds, light, people, and even other children. She stopped sleeping, constantly cried, and lost interest in toys. At 2 years old, she was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, epilepsy, and speech underdevelopment.
For the past 2 years, Arina has been living in a war-torn country where loud air raid sirens and bombs, dark and damp bomb shelters, and tense surroundings have become her reality. What was difficult for her before has become unbearable. Unfortunately, her family cannot leave the area. The only solace for Arina amidst these challenges has been therapy courses that help her cope with her environment.
These therapy courses — including physical, occupational, and behavioral therapies — are crucial for improving her motor skills, social adaptation, and ability to express herself. However, the costs of these therapies have tripled over the past 3 years, making them unaffordable for her family.
Your generous donation will provide Arina with the consistent therapy she needs to thrive despite the adversities she faces. Will you become a monthly donor and give Arina a chance to improve?
