We’re raising $1,015 to purchase a portable power station for Yesenia, a 12-year-old girl in Ukraine being raised by her grandmother.
Yesenia lives with spastic tetraparesis, the most severe form of cerebral palsy. It causes intense stiffness and weakness in all four limbs and her trunk. Her condition developed after acute encephalitis. She also has optic nerve atrophy and stage 4 scoliosis, making her fully dependent on care.
Right now, their city is under constant attack on its power grid. Their home is without electricity for 5 to 8 hours every day.
These outages aren’t just inconvenient. They directly affect Yesenia’s health.
Her medication and specialized nutrition require refrigeration, and without consistent power, it becomes nearly impossible to store them safely. Each outage puts her at risk and adds stress to an already fragile situation.
A portable power station would change that.
It would allow her grandmother to keep Yesenia’s medication and nutrition properly stored, ensuring she receives the care she depends on, regardless of outages.
This is a simple but critical solution that will immediately improve Yesenia’s quality of life.
Your support will go directly toward protecting Yesenia’s health and bringing stability to her daily care.
