Children in the Philippines living in extreme poverty struggle to access basic necessities. Many families simply can’t afford food, water, or medical care.
Imagine holding your breath for 25 minutes. In 2024, that’s how long it took to revive baby Sabrina. She fought to stay in this world, but today, at 2 years and 8 months old, she is fighting a battle that no miracle can win alone: the agonizing clock of poverty.
Sabrina lives with Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and Heart Disease, but her mother’s biggest heartbreak is rationing her care. In this home, diapers aren’t changed when they’re wet, they wait until they are “full enough” to save money. Milk is watered down to last another day. And the oxygen Sabrina needs to breathe? It’s often a luxury they can’t afford, costing just $15 to refill a tank.
It is a devastating reality: a mother skipping meals so her daughter can have her epilepsy medication, while praying that the milk and the oxygen don't run out at the same time.
Sabrina fought for 25 minutes to stay with us, but she needs more than hope. We are asking for your help to cover her basic needs: milk, diapers, epilepsy medicine, and the oxygen she needs to breathe. Your gift of $15, $25, or $50 is the miracle she needs today.
Please, don't let this brave girl wait for her next breath. Be the miracle Sabrina and her mother are praying for today.
