Children in the Philippines living in extreme poverty struggle to access basic necessities. Many families simply can’t afford food, water, or medical care.
Reymar's Mom Just Wants to Hear Him Say “Mama.”
Every morning, Reymar’s mom wakes up early, feeds her son, and heads to the nearby school to sell banana snacks.
She earns just $0.04 per stick.
Back home, Reymar waits. He’s 9 years old and lives with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and global developmental delay. He can’t walk. He can’t speak. He hasn’t had a proper medical check-up since 2016
His mom dreams of hearing him say “Mama” one day.
Of seeing him walk, just once.
Of watching him experience what it means to be a child.
But today, they’re just trying to survive.
His father earns $6 a day as a construction worker. They live with their three children in a small house on government-owned land. Most days, their only goals are food, milk, and keeping the lights on.
Reymar needs phenobarbital, a medication that helps control his seizures. But it’s not available on their island. The nearest pharmacy is hours away in the city, and the full prescription—200 pills—is far out of reach.
No government help. No steady support.
Today, she’s asking for help, because Reymar needs more than love.
He needs medicine, diapers, nutrition.
He needs dignity. Comfort. A chance.
You can help Reymar today. Donate and give him a chance for a brighter future.
