ORSI is working with the Foundation of Trauma to deliver medical aid to civilian and military hospitals in Ukraine. We have acquired logistical support and a line of communication with Ukrainian recipients to ensure the shipments make it to their destination.
We are working to fulfill equipment requests from the doctors in the field, including wound care materials, tourniquets, wound vacs, orthopaedic implants, antibiotics, and various soft goods.
This project is outside of our central mission in Haiti, but due to our access to trauma equipment and ability to rapidly deploy aid, we have been called upon to deliver these critical resources amid widespread shortages.
As we do not want to take resources away from our existing programs in Haiti (where the area of need is so extensive), we are running this project on restricted funds outside of our normal operations. Because of this, we are in great need of project-specific donations.
