Maya's Hope: Baby with Down Syndrome needs Formula, medicines & more

Art Zhane is an adorable one-year-old baby who was born with Down Syndrome and epilepsy. He gets sick frequently and has a chronic cough caused by weak lungs. Art Zhane takes expensive medication daily to control his epilepsy but the family struggles to be able to afford that and proper medical care. His father is a farmer whose income is unstable and depends on the harvest every two months. At most he earns about $78 US Dollars for a month. Art Zhane’s mother sometimes sells vegetables to try to help support the family, but she only adds about $15 US Dollars to their income when she can make sales. The family of four lives in a run-down and crowded home without running water, which is owned by the father’s family. The family gets water from a deep well which is not healthy for Art Zhane.

They can't provide for Art Zhane's basic needs like milk, food, diapers, and hygiene products as well as expensive medicines and medical treatments. There are times when Art Zhane’s parents need to choose between buying food and the maintenance medicine he must have. Sometimes they are forced to borrow money to pay for items they must have to survive, but that just adds to their struggle because that is another bill to pay. They often go hungry to make sure that Art Zhane and his sister have their basic needs met. Can you help us raise the funds for the purchase of medicines, milk, food, vitamins, diapers and basic necessities for Art Zhane?
