Sofia is a happy 5-year-old girl who lives with her loving family in Ukraine. A missile strike damaged their house, so they had to leave their home and get temporarily settle in a village. Despite all the everyday hardships, Sofia's parents put their daughter's health and well-being above everything else. They are determined to continue her therapy since she has аnomaly of brain development, microcephaly, and movement disorders that require the attention of trained specialists. Unfortunately, they don't have the means to cover the cost of therapy at the moment.

Maya's Hope work in Ukraine has not stopped for a moment since the beginning of the war. We have already supported over 7000 families who requested financial and humanitarian assistance and continue to carry on our important mission of serving children in need.
After almost 6 months of the war, the nature of requests for help has changed. Most of them are still based on the loss of regular full-time earnings and the inability to find a new source of income. But the priorities of children's needs have changed, and developmental therapy and rehabilitation courses have become the foreground again.
Maya’s Hope helps disadvantaged children living in poverty and helps provide hope by instilling value and purpose in each child. www.mayashope.org
