Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life. 


Mario is 14 months old. He has epilepsy and experiences frequent seizures. Only during a recent hospital admission did doctors tell his parents that he has Down syndrome. 

Mario needs several different tests and procedures that his family cannot afford - 2D heart echo, blood tests, hearing test and a MRI.
