Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life.
Angela is 15 years old and lives in the Philippines. Last year she was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma in the muscle of her right leg. It is stage iv and has spread to her lungs.
She has had surgery and is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation.
Due to the side effects of her treatment, she has difficulty eating normal food, is struggling to maintain her weight and needs supplement drinks.
Angela found Maya's Hope herself on Instagram and sent us a message. She knows her family is struggling with the cost of her treatment as well as the supplement drinks and other supplies she needs. She asked if we could help.
We don't want Angela to have to worry about finances while she is fighting for her health. To support Angela and her family during this difficult time we are raising funds to purchase supplement drinks, hand sanitizer, face masks, and other essentials for Angela. Can you help?
