Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life. Faith is a 2-year-old girl who has hydranencephaly. Her mother is a stay-at-home spouse while her father recently recovered from hemorrhoids and got a job as a helper in a refilling station. He earns around $118 monthly. They used to rely on her grandparents' help for their food, who also sold vegetables from their backyard to support the family despite having a hard time themselves. Recently, Faith’s parents have slowly started to get on their own feet with the help of Maya’s hope sponsors by supplying Faith’s basic needs. They try to budget her father’s income for a month and are now able to eat 3 times a day, however, their income is still not enough to support Faith’s basic needs and they are asking for your continued support. Can you help raise the funds for the purchase of milk, diapers, wipes, and more for Faith?
Maya’s Hope helps disadvantaged children living in poverty and helps provide hope by instilling value and purpose in each child.
