Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life.
Angel Kendra is a precious 2-year-old girl who was born with an occipital encephalocele (an encephalocele is a sac-like protrusion or projection of the brain and the membranes that cover it through an opening in the skull. An encephalocele happens when the neural tube does not close completely during pregnancy).
Angel lives with her parents and her cousin. Her father works as a construction worker but his earnings are meager. Angel's family cannot afford the surgery she needs to repair the encephalocele.
They reached out to us for their daughter. They are very concerned for her health and well-being.
Can you help us raise the funds needed for Angel Kendra's surgery? She has already waited too long.
