Ihor is 6 years old. He has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, double hemiplegia, and mental and speech underdevelopment. The psychological impact of the active military activities in the area where the family lives took a toll on his health. He stopped talking and eating and lost his sleep. He cannot even roll over as he did before. According to his doctor's report, Ihor needs an urgent therapy course to improve muscle tone, increase the volume of active movements, and improve phonemic hearing.
Can you please help Ihor get therapy?
Maya's Hope work in Ukraine has not stopped for a moment since the beginning of the war. We have already supported over 7000 families who requested financial and humanitarian assistance and continue to carry on our important mission of serving children in need.
After almost 6 months of the war, the nature of requests for help has changed. Most of them are still based on the loss of regular full-time earnings and the inability to find a new source of income. But the priorities of children's needs have changed, and developmental therapy and rehabilitation courses have become the foreground again.
Maya’s Hope helps disadvantaged children living in poverty and helps provide hope by instilling value and purpose in each child. www.mayashope.org
