Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life.
Baby Ash is nine months old and was born with hydrocephalus. His father works in a store, he is a shift leader earning around $240 per month. His mother has been unable to work due to her pregnancy and has been staying home to take care of baby Ash. Ash needed to be hospitalized at birth and his parents had to borrow money to pay for his care. He underwent urgent surgery to place a shunt because the size of his head is increasing by the day. His parents did not have the funds available to pay for his surgery but through Maya’s hope and your kind donations, the surgery was a success. Baby Ash is slowly recovering, however, there were a couple of complications such as Pneumonia and diarrhea that came up during this recovery. His parents could not afford the nebulizer, medications, and daily necessities that Baby Ash needed as they had used up all their savings and were still paying their loans.
Can you help us provide two month supply of formula, medicines, and more?
