May Day is I Am A Queen's Call to Action to support us in our endeavors of empowering girls of color in the Greensboro-High Point N.C. area through mentoring, STEM education, mental health services, community service and bonding activities.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support teen girls by May 1, 2021.
Our mission is to empower girls with a crown of confidence by providing transformational mentoring programs that develop them into future leaders and community service pioneers.
I Am A Queen will host a May Day fundraising push on Saturday, May 1 at 12 p.m. with Alana V. Allen, founder of I Am A Queen, Cayden Neal, an I Am A Queen Powerhouse, and Katrina G. Harrison, founder of The Last Dons that will stream on our Facebook page.
With your donation today, I Am A Queen can continue to provide free services to teen girls in our community through the following initiatives:
Queen Arise Leadership Program
Queens Who Code STEM Camp
"I Matter" Teen Empowerment Conference
Free Mental Health Counseling
What's Happening to Our Black Girls?
In the mail, expect to receive an I Am A Queen or I Am A King Bumper Car Magnet.
