Mason has been selected to participate in the prestigious New Balance Future Stars Series Fresh 50 at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He needs your help to make this dream a reality. The players are not charged a fee to participate but instead get the opportunity to raise funds for Future Stars Series Foundation and St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. The players have a chance to earn stipends towards their expenses just by helping raise money for these great causes.
Meet Mason: Mason Netcel is from St. Charles Illinois. He plays high school ball at St. Charles North and travel ball for Top Tier West. He’s a middle infielder and also pitches. Mason is hard worker and always looking for ways to improve.
Mason shares his favorite baseball memory: "My favorite baseball memory is our last game of the past season. My team was playing up in a 16u tournament and we made it to the championship game. We were down the whole game until the last inning, we scored 2 runs to win 4-3 and ended our season with a tourney dub."
Mason also shares what attending the NBFSS Fresh 50 means to him: "Attending a Signature Event is very important to me. I am very excited to be invited to the Fresh 50 and it’s only the beginning of my baseball career. I am looking forward to playing with competition across the country and becoming a better baseball player and person."
The New Balance Future Stars Series is not just about discovering and developing the MLB Heros of tomorrow. It’s about discovering and developing the leaders of tomorrow by creating real opportunities where they don’t exist today: opportunities for education, opportunities to give back to their community… opportunities for a future. We are incredibly grateful that Mason Netcel is a part of this chapter in our mission to CHANGE THE GAME!
Up to 20% of all net proceeds will be donated to Future Stars Series Foundation and St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
