HOW IT WORKS:
"From each according to his ability." Donate according to your ability. Only you know this, but donating more or less doesn't affect your ability to win the monopoly board; that's not the point. Your name goes in the raffle regardless of amount. At the end, I'll put the names in a hat or something and film a video announcing the winner. This will be posted on my instagram and bluesky. I'll then reach out to the winner via the email they provided here and ship them the board.

It's handmade and one of a kind. I'm not a master craftsmen, but I made it over an entire summer full of love, labor, and coordinating with other comrades on its design. Parts of it could look better (I had to handwrite some, and writing on wood looks like shit), but again, that's not the point. It's unique and for a necessary cause.
It (ironically) plays just like monopoly. You pass Gramsci in jail, and the State puts you there. Engles("Go") gifts you $200 every time you pass so you can stay afloat. "Total Social Capital" is Community Chest, and "Variable Capital" is Chance. Each "property" is a famous work or figure from the broader Marxology canon. You "purchase" with publication rights; can "mortgage" by briefly returning; "rent" is charged by citation fees; and houses and hotels appear in the form of volumes from the mini MEGA library--"E" side are houses & "M" side hotels. "Railroads" are Smith, Proudhon, Feuerbach, and Ricardo. Utilities are "Left" and "Right" Hegelians. Etc. It's silly and it plays.
