Support Marshall Softball’s NCAA Tournament Run
For the first time in nine years — and just the third time in program history — Marshall Thundering Herd softball is headed back to the NCAA Tournament.
After a historic 37-17 season and a second-place finish in the Sun Belt Conference, the Herd earned an at-large bid to the Durham Regional hosted by Duke Blue Devils softball. Marshall opens tournament play Friday, May 15 against Arizona Wildcats softball.
Now, Herd Nation has a chance to help fuel the journey.

A Historic Season
Under third-year Head Coach Morgan Zerkle, the Herd earned its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2017. Zerkle, an All-American shortstop on Marshall’s last tournament team, now leads the program back to the national spotlight from the dugout.
Marshall was powered all season by Sun Belt Player of the Year Sydni Burko, who leads the team with a .382 batting average and 21 home runs.
