March to 250
The Wilson Chamber of Commerce has been the voice of the Wilson business community since 1897. In order for our efforts to keep pace with Wilson’s growth, and accessible to every business interest, we’re asking our community to help build the Chamber Competitiveness Fund: the key to securing the future of Wilson’s Premier Business Network. Guaranteeing the long-term stability of the Chamber means we get to build on the extraordinary accomplishments made over the past few years:
- One of only four local chambers of commerce in North Carolina to earn the prestigious Accreditation designation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Already the “gold standard” for organizational excellence, attaining a four-star Accreditation means we exceed even the highest standards of service to our community.
- More than 500 businesses invested in the Chamber’s mission. From “solopreneurs” to Fortune 500 companies, we have a business community that is not only diverse, but flourishing. A new business opens in Wilson every four days, and they all should know the value of a strong local chamber of commerce.
- Dozens of events and services offered to accelerate market development. From ribbon cutting ceremonies to service recognitions, to convening community leadership and issuing Certificates of Origin, only the Wilson Chamber of Commerce can offer such an extensive array of opportunities that are designed exclusively to grow a market where all businesses have a chance to succeed.
Private enterprise is the backbone of the American economy, and local chambers are critical to keeping it that way. As our nation prepares to celebrate 250 years of independence, we’re launching our “March to 250”: a goal to raise $250,000 for the Chamber Competitiveness Fund by March, 2026. In addition to supporting our current operations, the Chamber Competitiveness Fund will allow the Wilson Chamber of Commerce to make strategic investments that benefit every local business.
