On Saturday, the twentieth day of December, in the season of Advent, I announced with deep sorrow and yet profound gratitude to Almighty God the peaceful passing of my beloved mother, Hortencia Edwards—a soul of rare beauty, boundless charity, and serene grace.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace.

In this time of grief, my family and I find ourselves facing certain financial challenges. We are presently seeking assistance to cover some of the costs of her funeral. This remains our most immediate need, though additional final arrangements will follow.
Should the Lord's providence move hearts to generosity beyond this amount, any surplus will be devoted to securing a place in the columbarium and other related final expenses befitting her memory.
In the meantime, I kindly implore your fervent prayers for the repose of the soul of my dear mother.
