Every child matters, which is why the Liberian Youth Orchestra is working to make music education accessible to Liberian children. Liberia is one of the poorest nations in the world with one orchestra... ours! We believe in providing Liberian children a path of opportunity, hope, and dignity through music education, leadership training and mentorship.

Over the past several years, we have seen 35 students exceed all expectation with their passion, hard work, and pursuit of musical knowledge. They have not only excelled in music, but also in academics, speaking skills, discipline, and leadership. We are at a point in our journey that we need our own independent music school. We are asking for your help. Together with your gracious support we can renovate and operate our new music school at the YMCA Liberia and give this opportunity to many more Liberian children.
