Dear Sponsor,

Magnus Robotics is providing a valuable opportunity for students in central Pennsylvania to develop important skills in STEM and robotics. Engaging students at various educational levels fosters a passion for science, technology, problem-solving and teamwork.

The VEX IQ Robotics Challenge is an effective way for students to learn about robotics, programming, and teamwork. Our teams meet weekly  to prepare for regional competitions and  significant national-level Signature  tournaments in the 2024/2025 Rapid  Relay VEX  IQ Robotics  Challenge. Team 727H Home-field  Advantage, Magnus  Robotics’ middle  school VEX  IQ team has competed in multiple tournaments at the regional and national level this season such as the RiverBots III (Monroe, Michigan) and the Kalahari Classic (Sandusky, Ohio) VEX IQ Signature Events.  As a highly motivated team, 727H has won numerous awards this  season.  As recipients of the Teamwork Champion Award at the Kalahari Classic and the Teamwork Champion and Robot Skills Champion Awards at the 2025 Eastern PA State Championship, the team has earned the chance to showcase their skills and represent Pennsylvania at the highly anticipated 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, Texas in May!

Similarly, our high school team participated in the 2024 / 2025 High Stakes VEX Robotics Competition (VRC), meeting a number of times per week to develop their robot for competition. During this season they have participated in multiple regional tournaments and competitive events like Sugar Rush (Hershey, Pennsylvania) and Kalahari (Sandusky, Ohio) Signature Tournaments. This experienced team has won a number of Tournament Finalist Awards this season, they have also been invited to participate in the prestigious 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship this May as well.

Magnus Robotics is dedicated to enhancing robotics education in the region. In the past, we have collaborated with educational institutions such as Lancaster Country Day School and Messiah University to host our own local robotics tournaments, bringing teams and greater awareness of robotics to our region. We have also supported other organizations by sharing resources like equipment as well as volunteer help at local events.

Magnus Robotics would like to invite your organization to participate in our fundraising campaign to help send these teams to the 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship event. Our hope is to reach a fundraising goals of $14,558.08 by Friday April 25th, 2025. This amount will help cover a portion of the expenses to attend these events, more specifically it will help our teams of 7 students and accompanying adult(s) cover the competition registration fees ($3,600.00), transportation to Dallas and lodging ($6,859.08), team & robotics supplies ($739) and some meals/incidentals ($3,360.00). We welcome any support you might be able to extend to our teams. Our hope is to reach this goal by April 25th,  2025.
