Welcome to our crowdfunding campaign to support two internationally renowned magicians, Felipe Costa (a.k.a. Pollo) from Colombia and Diego Vargas from Costa Rica, in their journey to Ukraine with Magicians Without Borders. We aim to bring the transformative power of magic to the recovery camps for mothers and their children and contribute to Magicians Without Borders’ educational initiatives in Lviv. Pollo will be traveling on August 23rd and Diego on Sept 15th.

His dedication to his art form and commitment to using magic for positive change have earned him widespread recognition and admiration.
Both Felipe and Diego have a deep passion for using their magical talents to bring joy, inspiration, and transformation to communities in need. Through their performances and teaching, they aim to ignite the spark of curiosity, encourage imagination, and empower individuals to believe in the extraordinary possibilities that lie within themselves. The Cause:
Our mission is twofold. Firstly, we want to bring joy and wonder to the recovery camps in Ukraine, where mothers and their children are overcoming challenging circumstances. We believe magic can uplift spirits, foster resilience, and create moments of pure happiness. By sharing their mesmerizing talents, Felipe and Diego aim to bring smiles to the faces of these families and remind them of the magic that exists within themselves.
Secondly, we aim to support Lviv’s Magicians Without Borders Education chapter, which was started in April of 2023. In collaboration with local educators Oleg and Taras, Felipe and Diego will conduct workshops and classes, teaching magic to children and young adults. Magic is not merely about tricks; it cultivates essential skills such as confidence, creativity, and problem-solving. By empowering the next generation with these tools, we hope to inspire them to dream big and overcome any obstacles they may face.

Note: Magicians Without Borders is an internationally recognized nonprofit organization that uses magic as a tool for social change. They have successfully carried out numerous projects worldwide, bringing joy and hope to communities in need. This will be the 4th and 5th trip to Ukraine from the organization.
On this trip, we will also have the company of a professional videographer (Israel) that will document the trip that Diego will take in September, and he will help us have incredible audiovisual documentation of our efforts.
