You can make a difference for horses in the slaughter pipeline by donating and sharing our Barn Expansion Fundraiser today!🐴
After rescuing our newest resident horse Walt from a horrific situation where if we did not step in to help him he would have been sent to Canada for slaughter, we here at Meghan Had A Little Lamb are more determined than ever to give this chance to more amazing horses like Walt.
Our plan is to build a 4 stall expansion onto our existing Barn, each stall a spacious 15’ x 16’ with 24 hour access to our largest pasture, as well as more hay storage. We can do this as soon as we complete our fundraising goal! By expanding our barn we can rescue and offer lifelong sanctuary to horses who need a way out of the horrific slaughter pipeline.
This is what the Expanded Barn will look like! With your help we can get the expansion built and rescue horses currently in danger of being sent to slaughter who desperately need our help. We want to give more horses like Walt who have been through so much, the opportunity to live peacefully and be treated as equals the way they deserve.
