Lucas has been selected to participate in the prestigious New Balance Future Stars Series Underclass Combine in Nashville, TN. He needs your help to make this dream a reality. The players are not charged a fee to participate but instead get the opportunity to raise funds for Future Stars Series Foundation. The players have a chance to earn stipends towards their expenses just by helping raise money for the Future Stars Series.

Meet Lucas: I am in the class of 2027, freshman, attending Frankston High School in East Texas. I have had passion for baseball for as long as I can remember. I am intrinsically motivated to work and strive to do my best and then some. I live, eat and breathe baseball. Although, I enjoy all sports and try to participate in array of activities at school, baseball is my heart and soul. I am a left-handed pitcher and hitter and also play center field. I intend on playing college ball after high school and then one day being drafted into the MLB if it be God's will.

Lucas shares his favorite baseball memory: "One of my favorite memories is from this past summer, 2023, playing with Frankston All Stars 14U Dixie League State Tournament. In the game just before the final game, I went into the final inning sliding into 3rd base. The 3rd baseman somehow got his metal cleats caught up in my knee creating a 2 inch wide cut and a cut that probably needed stitches.  Although, the pain was excruciating for me I went on to participate and finish out the final game pitching and helping my team bring in a win for the Dixie League Youth State Tournament.  It'll definitely be a highlight I will never forget, and of course I have scars to remind me of the endurance I faced that day going into the last game."

Lucas also shares what attending the NBFSS Underclass Combine means to him: "Being selected for the NBFSS Underclass Combine is such a rich opportunity to showcase my skills to a group of athletes and coaches that could support me in my dream of going on to college ball gives me a unique opportunity that few athletes have. I feel blessed to have been given this unique chance to demonstrate my skills and receive feedback from such a prestigious set of individuals and to network with others that share the same passion and desires I do that could ultimately assist me in obtaining my future goals."

The New Balance Future Stars Series is not just about discovering and developing the MLB Heros of tomorrow. It’s about discovering and developing the leaders of tomorrow by creating real opportunities where they don’t exist today: opportunities for education, opportunities to give back to their community… opportunities for a future. We are incredibly grateful that Lucas Bizzell is a part of this chapter in our mission to CHANGE THE GAME!
