BAF's Little Kemet Member's Retreat
The Black Achievement Fund is thrilled to announce that we are building a 6-acre, 20,000 sqft Members' Retreat called "Little Kemet." This retreat will be collectively owned and enjoyed by BAF members, and will be the first major asset in our real estate portfolio. The Retreat will feature 14 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a commercial kitchen and dining facilities, indoor/outdoor spa and fitness facilities, pool, media room, game room, conference room, art gallery, music studio and more. The retreat will also feature a community farm and greenhouse. The projected cost is $5 -$7 million. We are raising the capital in phases.
Phase 1 - Buying the Land!
Cost: $100,000 (6-acres $55,000, Plus costs of due diligence, including percolation and soil tests, topographical survey, Environmental Report 1, civil engineer reports, consultant fees, etc.). The project is being led by an all-African American female owned development firm, McAfee3 Architects www.mcafee3.com.
To achieve this goal we need at least 200 members or supporters to donate at least $500! Every member or supporter who donates at least $500 will receive a complimentary 7-day stay at the retreat. You do not have to donate the $500 at one time.
The BAF is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation. All contributions are 100% tax deductible.
