Last year, Renewed Community Initiatives began what we hope will be the ongoing tradition of giving away Life Essentials Bags to those in need. This includes those who are experiencing difficulties with housing or who simply might not be able to afford some items essential to our current times. In these bags we included toiletries and a couple other necessary items.
This year it's even more important to let those of us living in the most challenging circumstances know they are seen. We had a couple dollars in the bank so we've already begun buying a few things but we need your help. Most of our work is made possible by caring and concerning individuals in our community who understand that resources aren't always distributed in a balanced way.
If you'd like to give a monetary donation any amount helps! It would be great if you could share $2 to $5. If you'd like to donate physical items for this year's bags we are asking for (all new items please) tube socks, hand sanitizer, disposable gloves, face masks washable and/or disposable, lightweight blankets (we found great ones at IKEA), toothpaste/toothbrush kits, and KIND bars.
