We are advocating for a skatepark in the Lakes Area of Central Minnesota. Extreme sports are a healthy outlet for people of all ages, mentally and physically. Not to mention, a skatepark brings the community together. Skateparks break the barriers of age, ethnicity, gender and politics. Barriers that need to come down now more than ever.
Our overarching goal is a $500,000+ skatepark. This crowdfunding campaign is our first phase of fundraising. Other sources of money will come from grants, fundraising events, city funds and state funds. When we reach our $5,000 goal, we will increase it and push forward until we achieve a skatepark together as a community!
