Update 1.12.23: Klyshi has a passport and all the vaccines to travel with. Next step is to get him a travel case and flights.
Klyshi, a young dog born on the streets of Prishtina, Kosovo, needs a forever home.
A little over a year old, Klyshi was found as part of a litter, but was sadly the only survivor. He has since been in the care of a social center, but he unfortunately cannot be adopted by any of the volunteers or live permanently at the social center. He can hangout at the center in the day, but has to go back out into the dangerous city streets. The same streets that regular dog stabbings and many other brutal attacks happen.
So it has gotten to a point where it would be best for Klyshi to have a place and family he could call home. After a lot of searching, we have found a promising person we feel would be ideal for him. An English person living in the countryside of Devon, famous for its nature and beauty.
This crowdfunding is specifically for Klyshi and all that is needed for his rehoming endeavor. This includes but may not be limited to:
All vaccines and travel documents needed – 150 euro
Klyshi flights from Macedonia to England – 200 euro
Chaperone flight (mandatory) – 300 euro
An extra large travel box for the flight – 250 euro
transport to and from the airports. To Macedonia from Kosovo and to Devon from whichever airport he travels to – 30 euro
Harness and lead – 20 euro
Food & accessories for whole duration of stay and transit – 50 euro
Yes, we are fully aware that it all seems expensive. These are estimates after doing extensive research and planning. Something to understand is that we don’t have much flexibility so it makes it difficult to access cheaper options, especially for flights.
If anyone knows any info that could help us out in any way, to make things cheaper or run more smoothly, we would love to hear it.
Any funds that may be left over after the successful rehoming will be donated to another dog that needs to be rehomed or to a reputable animal shelter.
